What is the Kootéeyaa Project?
The Kootéeya Project is sponsoring the
carving of a Wellbriety Totem Pole at
the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium’s (SEARHC) Mt. Edgecumbe
campus in Sitka, Alaska. “Wellbriety” is part of a national movement
that uses a Native journey to wellness as part of the process for healing the
total person. The Wellbriety Totem Pole will represent the Native journey to
wellness, the SEARHC substance abuse and prevention treatment programs, and
the process of transformation to and the continuing journey of Wellbriety.
The Kootéeya Project is open to all members of the community.
When you donate $5,
plus $1.50 shipping and handling to help the Project raise the
Wellbriety Totem Pole on October 14, 2006,
you will receive a beautiful Totem
Pole pin in gratitude for your caring contribution.
These pins will also make excellent gifts
for friends, family and colleagues. There
is only one shipping and handling fee to
receive multiple pins as separate donations
in the same order.
