September is National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month and National Native American Wellbriety Month

White Bison is proud Planning Partner for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's National Drug and Alcohol Addiction Recovery Month. Information about this year's celebrations can be found at http://www.recoverymonth.gov.

We would like your support in complementing this effort by participating in National Native American Wellbriety Month, this coming September 2015. We are asking everyone who may plan or already have planned events to post them on the Recovery Month website, or share them with White Bison so that we can post them on our Facebook pages and groups to help spread the word about your events!

You can also help by encouraging local leaders to sign the Proclamation that recognizes September as National Native American Wellbriety Month. A signed Proclamation demonstrates a commitment to improving access to treatment programs for substance use and mental health disorders. Pleasehelp us spread the positive message that prevention works, treatment is effective, and people can and do recover!
