Messages From the Journey

6/12/02
Hello from Seattle—
The Tulalip Reservation was host to the White Bison Sacred Hoop Journey this past week end. We loved having the group come to our community. Their love and their incredible spirits brought much healing to our people. I just wanted to spread the good news about the work. I have organized a meeting and showing of the Wellbriety Movement Video given to us at the gathering. I just wish to send my eternal gratitude to all involved in this process.

Hello White Bison,
I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the conference that I attended in Portland, Oregon. I am a mother of four children, two of them are Native American, one by birth and one of my daughters was adopted by my ex husband who was Native American. I would like a copy of the free Big Book when it is available, also I am interested in learning about possibly starting a Firestarter Program.

Thank you again for the wonderful conference!

Don and staff—
A big Wopila (thank you) for coming to Portland and sharing your message, hope, strength and vision with all of us who made the journey to meet you. I am especially grateful for the opportunity my little kids had to pray with the Hoop and talk with you. They certainly came away with some strong impressions of the things they saw and heard. My son, Chaske, said it made him feel "so proud" to be Indian. I can't say thank you enough for all the sacrifices that you folks are making to support the Medicine and It's Journey. But I will send your message out to all those I know in Indian Country to make the trip like we did to see and hear the message. Blessings to all of you and your families.

We at White Bison welcome all your letters and communications from Hoop Journey III. Please share with us how your Hoop Journey is going.

The Red Road to Wellbriety, White Bison's 12 Step recovery book, is in one of the last revisions before publication. We are almost there... We will let you know just as soon as it's available. Soon!

Thanks for writing!
