| Brief History: The White Earth Boarding School opened in 1871, with a capacity of 110 students. By 1890, White Earth Boarding School was among four boarding schools in the White Earth area. Others were the St. Benedict's Orphan School, the Pine Point School and the Wild Rice River School. Combined attendance at the schools was 200. |
