• Sober for at least one year prior to your application.
• Familiarity with 12 Steps and the Recovery
Process (AA or Alanon; Gamblers Anonymous etc).
• Willingness to make a four year volunteer commitment.
• Ability to demonstrate Recovery leadership
in your own community.
• Interest in making a difference in the Native
American Recovery Community
• Willing and able to attend the Medicine Wheel
and 12 Step training program.
• Willing to do 12 Step work and address your
own emotional, mental, physical and spiritual
issues.
• Demonstrate an interest in learning the traditions
of your culture.
• Demonstrate an interest and ability to facilitate
groups and work with people.
• Complete the application and send it in (You
will be notified of your acceptance and provided information
about future trainings.)
