Registration
To make each group "official" for grant
purposes, all groups MUST
BE REGISTERED with White
Bison. We
can't stress enough how important this is!
It is not only for grant purposes,
that this is essential. Having the group agree
on a name gives the people in the group a feeling
of "belonging." It is a very important
part of the training. In some cases the facilitator
may invite an elder to come to the group and conduct
a naming ceremony. If this is appropriate in your
culture, we encourage this, as it makes the naming
even more powerful
